Content description: Gouache, goldleaf and silverleaf on board mural study depicting heroic figures of Industry and Agriculture superimposed over map of Davidson County; industry is represented by a Colonial blacksmith forging a horseshoe, typifying the handicraft age; agriculture is represented by the classic female figure adorned with the traditional grapes of Abundance holding aloft her ancient scythe, a bundle of grain at her hip.
