The next meeting of the Land Use and Water Planning Task Force is scheduled for Monday,
January 24, 1994, at the offices of the South Florida Water Management District,
Auditorium B-l, 3301 Gun Club Road, West Palm Beach, Florida, from 10:00 a.m.
until 3:00 p.m. If directions are needed, please call the SFWMD office at (407) 686-8800.

The following materials are enclosed:

Meeting agenda;

Overview of the Local Government Comprehensive Planning Process;

Chart, The Local Government Comprehensive Planning Process;

Amendment to the Intergovernmental Coordination Element Rule
(Proposed Rule 9J-5.015, F.A.C., noticed December 3, 1993, in Florida
Administrative Weekly);

Revised Chart, Existing Land and Water Planning Consistency Linkages State,
Regional, and Local Plans.

The Summary Report of the December 15, 1993, meeting will be distributed at the meeting.
There is currently no materials to be distributed for the panel or District Water Management
Plan presentations.

The agenda calls for a working lunch. We have arranged for sandwiches to be brought in
for the Task Force members and staff at a cost of $5.50 per person.

The next Task Force meeting has already been scheduled for February 25, 1994, at the
Department of Environmental Protection facility in Tampa, Florida, from 10:00 a.m. to
3:00 p.m. Further details will be discussed at January's meeting.
