The Short-Course promotional brochure will be mailed to over 40,000 individuals, companies and' agencies.
Exhibitors and sponsors who confirm prior to July 1, .1990, will receive prominent mention in that brochure.
Exhibitors and sponsors will receive additional exposure, of course, in the final program materials which all
attendees will receive.
Exhibit Booth Fees
Booth charges are $650.00 for a 10' x 10' booth. A deposit of $300.00 per booth is to be paid with return of your
contract. The balance is to be paid in full no later than August 31,-1990. Failure to remit payment for the full
booth rental by August 31st constitutes cancellation of the contract, and the space will be subject to resale.
(see "Cancellations and Refunds" section on the Application and Contract for Exhibit Space).
A discount of $50.00 per booth (excluding the first booth reserved) is available for multiple booth purchases.
Confirmation of booth space will be forwarded to you upon receipt of the signed contract.
Large blocks of dedicated time has been scheduled for exhibits, and the general public will be invited to view
exhibits on Thursday, October 18th. A reception, lunch, and refreshments are scheduled in the exhibit hall to
enchance attendance during exhibit hours.

SThe-official decorator and general service contractor for the.show is: Chene Expositions, Ltd., 9745 International
Court, St. Petersburg, FL 33716. Contact is: JoAnne Meltzer, Convention Coordinator, 813/577-1168.
Chene will store equipment free up to 15 days prior to set-up time. All exhibitor freight should be shipped to
Chene at the address above and marked: The Waste Management Show. Do not ship materials directly to the
Bayfront Center.. Order forms for freight handling will be included in the Exhibitor Service Kit.
Each exhibitor will receive an Exhibitor's Service Kit approximately 45 days prior to the show containing general
information on the show and order forms for labor, additional furnishings, special signs, drayage, etc.
Representatives of Chene will be available throughout the exhibit show at a service desk inside the exhibit hall.
Booths are 10' x 10' and have 8' background drapes with 3' siderail drapes of the same material. Each booth will
be carpeted and will include: one 8' x 2' draped table; 2 chairs; wastebasket and identification sign.
The booth rental fee does not include electrical outlets, additional furniture or telephone service. If you need an
electrical outlet in your booth, please check the appropriate box on your Contract for Exhibit-Space. The cost for
each outlet is $25.00, to be paid along with your booth fee. If youneed telephone service in your booth, call GTE
directly at 1-800-483-2762-. Any additional furniture should be ordered through the Exhibit Decorator, Chene
Expositions: All related costs listed above as Booth Exclusions are to be borne by exhibitor.

Uniformed security personnel will be provided from 8:00 a.m., Wednesday, October 17, 1990 (starting with
exhibitor set-up) around-the-clock until 5:00 p.m., Friday, October 19, 1990. The furnishing of such service shall
not be construed as an assumption of obligation or duty with respect to the protection of exhibitors' property,
which shall at all times remain in the sole possession and custody of each exhibitor. Each individual company is
.responsiblefor the security of its booth(s) during scheduled exhibit hours. Name badges will be required at all
times to enter the exhibit hall,
Hotel Room Reservations
The host hotel for The Waste Management Show and the Short-Course is the St. Petersburg Hilton and Towers,
and all room reservations must be handled directly with them ,by calling: 813/894-5000. Special group room rates
Share: $85.D00/single or double and $95.00/single or quad. Please advise the hotel that you are with The Waste

you will be contacted regarding the cost of specific events and items.
