Management District

Re: Quarterly meeting of water management
districts

Dear Bill:

The purpose of this letter is to summarize the various understandings
about how expenses will be incurred and funds will be handled.

Southwest Florida Water Management District, as host for the upcoming
quarterly meeting, is taking care of all coordination and arrange-
ment. However, a registration fee of $35 is being charged each
participant.

This registration fee is to cover the cost of the Thursday reception
and dinner, the Friday breakfast and the meeting places plus any
incidentals in connection with the motel and meal facilities. It
does not include cost of materials, supplies, special PA system
rental, folders, mailing costs, announcements, etc. It also does
not include the Friday lunch or meeting place for the Friday
afternoon meeting.

Since the registration fees are not, and do not become, part of
SWFWMD's funds, a decision was made that some of our firm employees
will administer the funds through a separate checking account. We
-will honor purchase orders and render a bill upon receipt of the
purchase orders. We will require that all persons attending either
pay cash or check, or have a proper purchase order on file at the
time the event commences.

Upon receipt of a purchase order we will immediately render a bill
for the, registration fee. If we have not received those funds by
the time of the event then I will personally advance sufficient

funds to pay for the meeting and meal costs.

It is anticipated that the cost outlined will be covered by the
registration fee. If there are any excess funds, these will be
fowarded on to the water management district committee which will
be hosting the following quarterly meeting.

A checking account under the name."Water Management Meeting" has
been opened at the Madison Street branch of the Atlantic Bank of
Tampa. Jacolynn G. Fink is the only approved signature and my
personal social security number has been filed with the bank for
identification purposes.
