Tampa has been selected as the site of 16th Annual Conference on Water
Management in Florida. This conference ha ome the premier event
interaction between water mana ers in both the pu ic vate sectors.
Jointly sponsored by fri ement districts and the
Department of Envi mental Regulation, it wile held at the Hyatt Regency
Tampa downtown hotel October 2-4, 1991.
This year the conferen il Autions to water management problems.
There will be discussions on water policy as well as a look at specific examples
of problems that are now being solved.
Five interesting and distinctive field trips will be provided as part of the
conference registration. They will focus on agriculture, water supply, the
phosphate industry, the Hillsborough River and Tampa Bay.
An estimated 450-500 people will attend the conference including staff and
board members from the five water management districts, Department of
Environmental Regulation officials, other state and local agencies, key policy
administrators as well as private sector interests.
Exhibitors and sponsors are again invited to be a part of the conference.
This is a perfect way to meet and inform decision makers on water
management issues. An exhibit for the entire event is only $395 and
includes one complimentary full registration to the conference. Notice of
your exhibit or sponsorship will be printed in the conference program.

Form. Exhibits will be confirmed on a first-come, first-served basis. Please

WHO WILL BE ATTENDING?
An estimated 450-500 people are expected at the October 2 4 conference including:
representatives from each of the State's five water management districts; officials of the
Department of Environmental Regulation and other state and local agencies; governing board
members; key policy administrators and others interested in water issues affecting Florida.
Offered at the conference will be sessions related to areas of concern on regulatory issues,
policy and administration, planning and more. The 16th Annual Conference on Water
Management offers the exhibitor the unique opportunity to display products to the top water
managers in the state.
WHAT'S THE PROGRAM?
This year the conference will address solutions to water management problems. Included will
be discussions on water policy as well as specific examples of problems that are being solved.
Five field trips are planned as part of the conference. They will focus on Agriculture, Water
Supply, Phosphate, the Hillsborough River and Tampa Bay.
WHERE ARE THE ACCOMMODATIONS?
The Hyatt Regency Tampa, conveniently located in downtown Tampa, is the site of this
year's meeting. The hotel is six miles from Tampa International Airport and complimentary
shuttle service from the airport is provided by the Hyatt Regency Tampa. A special group
rate of $85.00 single/double is offered, and the cut-off date for this block of rooms is:

WHAT ABOUT EXHIBITS?
Over five hours of the conference program is dedicated exclusively to the exhibit hall.
Breakfasts and breaks will be held in an exhibit area next to the main ballroom where
companies, agencies and associations may distribute or display information from table top
displays. The exhibit cost will be $395.00, and includes one full conference registration -
a $130 value, a six or eight-foot draped table; two chairs; one 120 volt duplex electrical
outlet. An exhibit fee of $100.00 is offered to government agencies and not-for-profit
associations eludingg the conference registration of $130). Conference registration includes
all materials, continental breakfast Thursday and Friday, box lunch and field trips Thursday,
a banquet Thursday evening and the Governor's Luncheon on Friday. Registration does not
include the Wednesday reception and dinner at Busch Gardens. Conference registrants may
purchase a single ticket to this event for $20 and one additional ticket at $25.
Upon receipt of your Application for Space, we will forward details concerning shipping
instructions, exhibit hours, etc. Tables will be assigned as applications are received.
