Thank you for the check in the amount of $35.00 covering
dues inthe Water Users Association for the current year.

I have just returned from vacation and haveonly had time
for a quick look at the information you sent me on ground-
water quality standards. At this point, I feel it would be
helpful if we could get together for a review of the proposal
cter I have gone over it. I appreciate your bringing this
to my attention.

NEDA is rapidly becoming very influential in environmental
issues at the Washington level. I hope you can attend the
luncheon and meet some of the leaders. Jay Turner, President
of the International Union of Operating Engineers and a strong
possibility to succeed Meany, is our luncheon speaker.
