Dear Mr. Feaster:

This letter is to confirm your invitation to participate in the
public meeting on the proposed constitutional amendment, Ad Valorem
Taxation for Water Management Districts. The meeting will be held in the
courtroom on the 2nd floor of the Charlotte County Courthouse, Thursday,
February 26th at 8:00 p.m.

We-would also like to extend an invitation for you to be our guest
at dinner that same evening. We will be dining at the Holiday Inn on US 41
in Punta Gorda beginning at 6:00 p.m. This will give all of us a chance to
meet and become better acquainted before the public meeting. Could you
please let me know if we can expect you for dinner?

Enclosed you will find an agenda for the meeting and a list of questions
that we would like answered at the meeting. Due to the number of speakers
(9), we would appreciate your limiting your talk to approximately 10-15
minutes. This will leave us time for questions from the audience and still
get us out at a reasonable hour.

Also, please keep in mind that Extension's role in this meeting is
simply to present factual information on both sides of the issue. The Extension
Service will not be taking a stand on the issue, only providing information
for residents of this area.

Thank you for your cooperation and we look forward to meeting with you
on February 26th.
