Dear Carl:

This will confirm your submittal in behalf of the City of St.
Petersburg of the three referenced forms styled in accordance
with your transmittal letter, dated December 30, 1980, "Requests
for extension on old forms." We acknowledge this action as an
"extraordinary safeguard" taken by you in behalf of the City,
"lest there be procedural difficulties with the one year

The City has been advised that the expiration date of each
referenced permit is extended to December 31, 1981, by action
of the Governing Board by Order No. 80-39, dated December 3,
1980, and by Rule 40D-2.321(7), F.A.C.

Your procedural submittal is on file in the File of Record for
each referenced Permit for the purpose expressed. It is under-
stood that the forms were not filed for the purpose of Renewal
or Modification as provided by law or the rules of the District,
so we are returning each referenced form in order to confirm for
the record that no Applications with reference to the three
cited Consumptive Use Permits have been filed or are pending
with the District.

for Renewal will be submitted in the latter part of the year.
