Re: Tampa Bypass Canal
Dear Mr. Blain:
In reference to your letter of July 11, 1975, copy attached, I think what we need
to do is assign Walter Siekmann and Emil Meier as the two men working on this with
Jackie Bearden to be the secretary going to your office. We will assign Margo
Fletcher on this end giving you four people with whom to coordinate these problems.
If this is satisfactory then we will proceed. Mr. Meier will be in touch with you
to formulate the plans.
Very truly yours,

RE: Tampa Bypass Canal, SeCtion 4B
Your Letter of July 7, 1975 to Myron Gibbons
In view of the mad scramble that is going to be necessary
to meet the deadline of acquiring all these lands before
November 1, 1975 and also to get a little experience of how
this might work in the future with the mad scramble if and
when we get Green Swamp money, perhaps, it would be a good
idea and helpful all the way around to assign a knowledgeable
secretary or clerk-typist to work right Tere in our office, -
assisting Walt Siekmann and Margo Fletcher in keeping things
moving. We would find this a big help to us in.expediting
He or she could set up shop in the office space which we
presently make available to you for SWFWMD use.
