Restorat ion

Area Addition

Mama is thaiee, ite dion to the growing menagerie in th restoration area, Bob James reported from the Restoration Commission's public relations office this morning.
Mama is a large, white mare who this morning began to share quarters in a corral behind the Blacksmith Shop at Cuna and Charlotte streets with Jenny the donkey. ama was donated by Restoration Commission Archaeologist Bob Steinbach.
Mama, who is 12 years old, is reported to be a gentle beast. A stall for her is being built now. She joins Jenny and two adult goats and two young goats that arrived unexpectedly Saturday morning. The animals are being cared for by Dewey Adelsperger, director of exhibits. Mama and Jenny are corraled at the Blacksmith shop and the goats are St. George Street residents.
