AN ORDINANCE to amend the Indictable Offences
(Magistrates' Procedure) Ordinance, No. 2.

BE it enacted by the Governor of Trinidad and Tobago
with the advice and consent of the Legislative Council
thereof as follows:-
1. This Ordinance may be cited as the Indictable Offences short Title.
(Magistrates' Procedure) Ordinance, 1912, and shall be read
as one with the Indictable Offences (Magistrates' Procedure)
Ordinance, No. 2, which is hereinafter referred to as the
principal Ordinance.

2. Section 9 of the principal Ordinance is amended by Amendment
striking out the following words :- of sOtin. 9
of Ordmanct
(a.) "or in his own recognizance and that of some N o.
other person as his surety as to the Justice
"shall seem fit" in lines 6 and 7 thereof;
(b.) or give security" in line 12 thereof;
(c.) "or give security" in line 17 thereof

Amendment 3. Section 14 of the Principal Ordinance is amended by
of Section 14
of Ordinance inserting after the word "time" in line 7 thereof the words
No.2. "not exceeding ten clear days or until the next day on
which the Justice holds a Court if a Court is not to be held
within such ten days."

Passed in Council this Sixth day of November, in
the year of Our Lord one thousand nine hundred and twelve.
