TRINIDAD AND TOBAGO.
AN ORDINANCE to authorise the construction of the
GEORGE R. LE HUNTE,
7th March, 1912.
BE it enacted by the Governor of Trinidad and Tobago
with the advice and consent of the Legislative Council
thereof as follows:
1. This Ordinance may be cited as the Siparia Railway Short Title.
2. It shall be lawful for the Governor to construct a Construction
Railway in the Wards of Naparima and Oropouche, to be o ,if
known as the Siparia Railway, commencing in the Ward of
Naparima at a point 264 feet or thereabouts in a Northerly
direction from the centre of the Cipero Main Road where
the Fullerton Tramway of the New Colonial Company
Limited crosses that road on the level near Golconda and
Friendship Siding, thence following the said Fullerton
Tramway in a Southerly direction for a distance of three
miles thirteen chains or thereabouts, thence crossing the
San Fernando-Siparia Public Road near the Southern end

of John Thomas' Village, thence crossing the Oropouche
Lagoon in a Southerly and south-westerly direction and
re-crossing the San Fernando-Siparia Road near the 7th
mile mark thereon, thence following the Coora River cross-
ing the Quinam Road to the East of Siparia Village and
terminating in the Ward of Oropouche at a point situated
seventeen chains or thereabouts South of the said road cross-
ing on Crown lands reserved, being twelve miles forty-two
chains or thereabouts from the commencement of the said
Railway, according to the plan of such Railway made by
Horace Richard Marwood, dated 24th February, 1912 and
signed by Samuel William Knaggs, Colonial Secretary
and the said Horace Richard Marwood, Chief Resident
Engineer of the Trinidad Government Railway, and
deposited in the office of the Sub-Intendant of Crown
Passed in Council this Twenty-sixth day of February,
in the year of Our Lord one thousand nine hundred and
