General Safety Information
WARNING: DISCONNECT POWER SOURCE BE-
FORE SERVICING OR INSPECTING EQUIPMENT.
FAILURE TO DO SO MAY RESULT IN FATAL ELEC-
TRICAL SHOCK!
1. Follow all local electrical and safety codes, as
well as the National Electrical Code (NEC) and
The Occupational Safety and Health Act (OSHA).
2. Make certain the power source conforms to the
requirements of your equipment.
3. Do not exceed the specifications of the switch.

Installation
NOTE: All wiring should be performed by a qual-
ified electrician.
Follow all local electrical and safety codes, as
well as The National Electrical Code (NEC) and
the Occupational Safety and Health Act (OSHA).
1. Install the motor equipment according to the
manufacturers directions.
2. Install the wiring from the motor to the switch
mounting location, but DO NOT turn on the
power at this time.
3. Connect the power leads and motor leads to the
switches as shown in the appropriate wiring di-
agram (Figure 1 or Figure 2).
4. Mount the switch assembly on the outlet box
using the screws provided. Make certain the
wires are not being pinched under the wallplate
before tightening.
5. Turn on the power to the switches.

Operation
In general, motors should be started on high speed,
then switched to low speed if desired.
1. Set the timer pointer knob to the number of
hours of desired operation.
2. Flip the toggle switch to the high position. If low
speed is desired, wait a few seconds to allow the
motor to come up to speed, then flip the toggle
switch to the low position.
3. To turn the motor off before end of timer cycle,
rotate the timer knob to "O," or flip the'toggle
switch to the center "OFF" position.
4. The motor will turn off automatically at the end
of the set time period. If desired, the timer knob
can be readjusted clockwise or counter
clockwise before the timer cycle is completed.
Do not attempt to turn the knob past "O" from
either direction.
NOTE: The timer normally makes an audible
ticking sound when in operation. This sound
may continue for several moments after the
timer knob has returned to the "0" position.

General Safety Information
1. Follow all local electrical and safety codes, as
well as the National Electrical Code (NEC) and
the Occupational Safety and Health Act (OSHA).
2. Blower must be securely and adequately
grounded. This can be accomplished by wiring
with a grounded, metal-clad raceway system, by
using a separate ground wire connected to the
bare metal of the blower frame, or other suitable
means.
3. Always disconnect power source before working
on or near a motor or its connected load If the
power disconnect point is out-of-sight, lock it in
the open position and tag to prevent unexpected
application of power.
4. All moving parts should be guarded.
5. Be careful when touching the exterior of an oper-
ating motor it may be hot enough to be painful
or cause injury. With modern motors this condi-
tion is normal if operated at rated load and volt-
age modern motors are built to operate at
higher temperatures.
6. Protect the power cable from coming in contact
with sharp objects.
7. Do not kink power cable and never allow the ca-
bles to come in contact with oil, grease, hot sur-
faces, or chemicals.
8. Make certain that the power source conforms to
the requirements of your equipment.
9. Wiping or cleaning rags and other flammable
waste materials must be placed in a tightly
closed metal container and disposed of later in
the proper fashion.
10. When cleaning electrical or electronic equip-
ment, always use an approved cleaning agent
such as dry cleaning solvent.
11. Do not use these blowers in explosive atmos-
pheres.
