Mr. Mickey Owen
Owen Electric Company
3061 Mac Road
St. Augustine, FL 32086

Dear Mickey:
I have received your final billing for the electrical contract for the
renovation at Government House (DOS-84490010). Before I progress with the
final payment process I would like you to take, care of the following details
that were included in your contract:

1. Panel "B" is not labeled as such.
2. Two corners on the cover for Panel "B" are bent.
3. All the outlets you installed do not meet the specifications for
the job. You installed 15 amp. residential outlets, and 20 amp.
commercial grade outlets are required.
4. The conduit that feeds the small case outlets should be strapped
and bent to follow the configuration of the wall.
5. We require proof that the shields supplied for the fluorescent
fixtures are UV shielded.
6. Many of the outlets are crooked and not securely attached to the
walls.
7. The exit sign in the southeast corner is not set up straight and
screws are exposed at the top.
8. Panel "A" is not labeled as such.
9. The specifications call for a separate circuit for the microwave
unit in the vault and there isn't one.
10. Panel "A" lacks washers for the face.
11. Button missing from one of the rheostat switches in the East Wing.
12. PVC main feed is required by code to be strapped up every five feet,
and it should be straight and level to avoid future stress from sagging.
13. The switch that controlled the lights outside under the loggia was
covered up and we have no way of switching on those lights.

this job in a professional and workmanlike manner and I look forward to
hearing from you.
