*Analysis was based on the vegetable seed sales of 14 seed companies
with estimates made by the Vegetable Extension staff for three out-
of-state companies, for which datum was not available. Exception to
this was the celery varietal breakdown, which was furnished through
the courtesy of the Florida Fresh Produce Exchange in Orlando. Potato
and strawberry varieties, according to their importance, were derived
from records of the Extension Service. Some varieties listed were
not reported by any company and come from estimates of known local
