Pedro was a native of St. Augustine
apparentlyisee 1655 letter, Lowery-vol 7-

Maria was born in St. Augustine in 1623
the daughter of Juan Ruls de Canazares
and Lorenzo de Flormncia. There were
11 children born to Pedro and Maria
and Governor 6alazar stood godfather
for three.
Lorenzo..born 1645(CPR p 8) The father, Fedro was Royal Accountant
at this time. Ihe Governor, Benito
Ruis de Salazar, stood sponsor.
married 1st. Dec. 9, 1670(CPR p94) Emerciana de Villa Red.
also de la Rocha
Governor Francisco de la Vega witnessed.

Antonio Lorenzo..born..1672(CPR p 44) The grandfather, Pedro

house known today as the

or in 1716, there were two but
both were the grand-daughters
of Lorenzo Josef de Leon.
