Bl. "h" 1763--Puente

This little block was divided between just two owners.
No. 290: Den Juan Arture de Salas
Ne. 291: Den Nicelas Pence de Leen
On Fish Account list there was "no entry" for 290 and
No. 12, F.A.L. gives under date 1764... framework sold"..

Mencrief, 1765 divides it between Fish and Walton. Fish on the
south end and William Walton on the north end.
This was the Crasker block in British days. Escrituras Nes. 218-221 in
1785 and Noe 494 in 1790 gives answers to elear up changes.
Howard certified that in 1775 grant of No. 2 Crasker block made
to Godfrey Humbert. 1778, Bernarde Humbert, executor of the former
transferred to George Grasselll
Gedfrey Humbert was a Carpenter on DeBrahm, 1771.
April 5, 1785 Grassell sold property to Juan Hernandes, Minercan.
Hernandezs,broethepf Martin Hernandez and Deretea Gemila and a
Carpenter as well, married Antonia Arnau in St. Augustine, April
27, 1789.
Incidentally Juan Hernandes was the uncle of General Jose Mariano Hernande
of later St. Augustine times.

Then Juan Hernandez sold part of his property to the TavernKeeper,
Pedro Garcia of Spain. Eventually Garcia get the full Hernandes
section.
Juan de Salas came back during 2nd Spanish days with son and
grandson and settled in his old home. He was there in 1788, No.
207, Bl. 33.
This was Quesada No. 31. And in 1790 the bleek again had twoeowners,
the Barkeep, Garcia,en the south and the eld resident, Salas,on the
north.

The lineage of the two first owners.

Across the street lived Toribie de Zamerano. Nifelas marrib~ ene 0
his daughters.

Nov. 23, 1750 Isabel Zamerano married Nicolas Pence de Leon,
He was the son of Don Antonio Ponce de Leon and Anastasia de Flortnsia.

They were married in 1713. Don Antonio was the son of the
Sgt. Major Nicolas Pense de Leen and Ana do ??(Urisa-Espinena-
Andrada- y Artiaga)
He had been married to Ana Ar selles pror to his marriage to
Aaastacia de Floreneta. His daughter, atalina, married Juan
Fernandes Lopes two years after his 2nd marriage.

Don Juan de Salas was of Santiaoe.
He married Juana Sanehes do la Rsa Oec. 30, 1754. Phs. 322/323
She was the daughter of Don Francisco Sanches de la Rosa of Cadis and
Teaasa Cordere of St. Augustine. They were married 1731.
Teasaa Cordere was the daughter of Juan Cererro and Beatrice Aguilao.
This couple wed 1697.
Beatries was the daughter of Franelsce Josef Aguilar of Seville and
Lorenos do Sete. They were married May 23 1674. Note: He may have
been a native as there were two of these Francisce Josef Aguilars.

Den Juan do Salas eane back to St. Augustine, back to his old hee
and was living there as late as 1790.
