HISTORIC ST. AUGUSTINE PRESERVATION BOARD

MEMORANDUM

TO: Kate Dupes

FROM: Earle Newton

DATE: April 10, 1990

SUBJECT: Responsibilities of the Special Projects Coordinator

The establishment of this position is based on the fact that
there will be a variety of projects which cross conventional
lines of responsibilities, and which therefore require a single
project coordinator who will, to the extent that we have willing
resource people, draw upon them to assist the project, but who
will make sure the project moves speedily along by doing herself
what will not otherwise get done.

You are therefore assigned, initially, the following projects:

1. Implementation of the Hospital Revival Project,
as respects the HSAPB and SAAF roles in
refurnishing and operating this important
element in our interpretation program. It is
understood that, outside this role, you will
be representing military and medical interests
who originally proposed this project and who
will need to be utilized in developing it.

There will be expenses involved in the project,
and these will need to be cleared with me or
Mr. Loveless in advance, as well as any general
policy publicity or printed materials.

2. Arrangements for Tallahassee Preservation Day,
April 22-24, including exhibits and lobbying
processes.

3 The annual inventory of collections, which
cannot be done by any staff member responsible
for them. (See separate memo.)
