Sorry about not getting the NSF grant, but things seem to be tough
all over now.
I've rewritten another draft of the paper on future archeology in St.
Augustine but haven't yet a final clean copy. You mentioned that it
might be possible to publish. What is the status of that? I think I'd
like to publish it as it turned out to be a pretty good statement of
what I want to say about historic archaeology. I'll be gald to hear what
I'll probably come to St. Augustine on the 13t or possibly the 14t
with the first load of stuff and to see about odds and ends. I'll call
you or Steinbach as to which day I'll make it. The end of the quarter will
be very tight. I have two classes with final exams on Wednesday and
Thursday March 15 & 160 and have to get them graded if I'm to go to
the FAS meeting in Orlando the 181t. Then I need to be in Washington
on Monday and on to the Winterthur Comference by the end of the week.
It looks like a hectic ending and beginning.
We will get the bunk beds hereand bring them over sometime before the
