Dear Mr. Griffin:

Please be advised! that the historic preservation Project
Review Council has approved this project for inclusion in the
program budget to be considered by the 1975 Legislature.

As you know, this is only a first step. After funds for
the program are appropriated, each of the projects included will
be reevaluated in order to determine the most effective distri-
bution of the funds available. You will then be able to plan in
detail the work to be accomp~lished under the project, and submit
your plans and specifications for final approval. So we still
have a long way to go.

In the meantime, please keep me advised of any new develop-
ments in your project planning. We will be happy to assist in
any way possible.

Your truly,

William N. Thurston, Ph.D.
Chief Preservation Planner
