Mr. Bradley G. Brewer
Director
St. Augustine Historical Restoration
and Preservation Commission
Post Office Box 1987
St. Augustine, Florida 32084

Dear Brad:

You will recall that quite some time ago I discussed with you
a type of operation which I thought could be used at the Pot-
tery Shop. This operation consists of the customer buying
what might be termed a blank piece of pottery on which he would
place any decoration desired and then turn it over to the
operator of the Pottery Shop for glazing. Picnic tables would
be set out near by the Pottery Shop on which would be the
various colors of paint which would be used in decorating the
pottery.

The name of the organization which thought up this type deal
is as follows:

SHUNKAI INTERNATIONAL COMPANY
6-11-503 Honmaru-cho
Otsu-City Shiga-Icen, Japan

The US contact is:

S. H. Kuroda or Ken Hatta
EDO Building
7 West 46th Street
New York, New York

It is a little too late to think about putting this in for
this year, but I believe it would add some needed activity
to the restoration area at some future date.

Sin erely,

W. F. Rolleston
President
