WELCOME BACK TO A NEW

The Office of Off Campus Life welcomes r|
back all off campus students to the uni-

provide you with helpful information about lWl
campus and the greater Gainesville com- ...and S

off campus students feel connected to ShOuld yOUr
the university and that they build a posi-

are here to help you with your off campus
living experience and have provided infor-
mation about several on and off campus
resources.

SWINE FLU/H1N1
INFORMATION

Students come to UF to get an education
and the full college experience, not the
swine flu. Keep yourself healthy and pro-
tected by following these five simple tips
courtesy of Gatorwell.
Avoid close contact with people who are
sick
Stay home if you are sick
Cover your mouth and nose with a tissue
or your arm when coughing and sneezing
Wash hands often to stop the spread of
germs-use hand sanitizer when soap and
water are not available
Avoid touching your eyes, nose, or
mouth-germs are often spread this way
The flu vaccine will be available
starting in October at the SHCC
from Monday-Friday from 8:00AM
to 11:30AM or 1:00PM to 4:00PM.
Cost is $5 for students and $25 for
faculty and staff.
For more information on the HIN1
virus, go to http://www.ehs.ufl.

With the crime rate on the rise, here are some simple tips on how to stay
safe.
Be aware of your surroundings
Don't walk alone at night---this includes going for runs alone
Don't leave valuables in your vehicle
Don't post on facebook or twitter that you will be out of town
Be a good neighbor and watch out for one another
