Beyond these doors lie our futures,

MR. MIKULICH

He won't be teaching at Balboa High School next year, but
it is inconceivable that Mr. Mikulich will actually retire. After a
lifetime of teaching, coaching, and helping the young, the
youth, and the not so young it hardly seems possible that he
won't be in his room next year.
Concern for his fellow man has been his outstanding char-
acteristics. He exemplified this in his teaching, in his coach-
ing, in his association with fellow teachers, in the community
in which he lived, and in his church where he was an inspira-
tion to others.
Officially Mr. Mikulich retires, but we know that he will con-
tinue with his efforts on behalf of young people and adults in
other ways and other directions. How do we replace a good
and true friend? How do we replace a faithful, dependable,
and devoted teacher?
We wish you the very best Mr. Mikulich. We will miss you.
