The Hoch Heritage Center
The Hoch Heritage Center is located near the New River in the old Fort Lauderdale village and museum district. It was built in 1949 as a post office annex. This building houses the Fort Lauderdale Historical Society, Inc since 1978. It is a public research library and has the largest collection of historical materials regarding the history of Fort Lauderdale. It holds 250,000 historic images, archives and the collections for the Historical Society. http://www.oldfortlauderdale.org
