Dear Bob:

It was a delightful experience to visit in
your eharming Jhme and meet yeur attractive wife.
We deeply appreciate yeur physical effort in ree-
eiving us fer a conferenee. Everyone agreed that
it was most prefttable, and new gives us the "greeo
light"te go ahead and finish up the Hispanie Garden.

Yesterday afteraeen we alse met with Mayer
Jeoh Bailey. He explained that the City had ent been
asked te help with the electrical er plumbing aspects
and therefore could met aid us with the eost sinee it
had been doae by private firms. However, Mayer Bailey
aid effer to assist us in any way possible from new
ea. If City facilities are used, they eaa be of great
assistance.

He asked that we Aotify you, so that you will
be aware of their generous offer. I knew that we must
Se. the trailed masses ,ete. but perhaps there is some
part of the work which might be done by the City. It
might be that they will install the uaxerwater lights
and indirect lighting fixtures,or whatever, at the
corners of the garden. And do we have the required
number of faucets for watering the plants?

Mrs. Towers thoughTperhaps they eould assist
us toe, with the erreetion of the arbor, under yeur
supervision aecerding to the specifieatiaos,of course.

Everyeae we have met in St. Augustine has been
most gracious axd generous with thler time aad interest
in our project... and we are truly grateful I

With kindest regards and best wishes for a
speedy aad complete recovery; I am

Most sineerely,

:Mayor John Bailey
Mrs. C.D. Towers Mrs. Jack W. DuMlap
