extending 10 yds. to the lot of Nicolias Anzalata which is on said North
street; from which point the line turns.S. 8 yds. and connects with land of
the said Anzalata; running back, or to the E., 27 yds. Bought of Pedro
Cocifacio Dec. 15, 1782, Cocifacio holding deed from Joseph Fish,

first side 260 varas second 45 varas third 4h 1/2 fourth 25 1/2 varas I bought
the corner house and part of the lot from Antonio Paceti deed 3rd Aug. 178U
and part with cottage of wood of Miguel Segui 6th April, 1796.

Seville, Spain," we can read: "#274, The house of Francisco Suarez, 35 pesos,"

4. Fish account book says: #h2 Sold to George Kam (Kemp) Feb. 20, 1769.
Kemp sold to McHenry (book 367 p. 15 Ap. 28, 1787) British grant 1771 Lot 5
Albermarle Block to Kemp.

Old Floridians, Minorcans, Italians and Greeks. William MacHenry, Native
of Ireland C.A.R. and as such counted with the Minorcans and settled under
the mastery of the Parish Priest Don Diego Canes (Camps), his will to avail
himself of Spanish protection to remain in the country if he is permitted,
he is a widower, his occupation, actually, dealer in rum and beer, but he
is a carpenter, he lives in a house right at the side of Mr. Jesse Fish.

#65 Two-story house, the main walls and corners of masonry, the partitions
framed in wood, split lathed and plastered, in fair condition, owned by
Don Guillermo Mequenere (William MacHenry); with Deed and land that it cites.

7. 1790 Quesada's List says.

#63 Rubble work masonry house with lot of William MacKarry (MacHenry)
with deed. (No measurements).

8. 1791 Escrituras, 12 January 1791

p. 127 Mortgage May h. Wmi. McHenry gives bond for voyage and cargo,
mortgaging his house and lot on St. George St., which is the W. boundary,
Antonio Berta N., Thomas Hassett S. Bought from Fc. F. Facio.

9. 1796 No. 10, Florida, Year of 1796

Testamentary for the death of Don Guillermo Mc Enery, new comer, and
resident of this said city.

He died in St. Augustine on Friday, 7 October 1796, and was a native of
the city of Limberick, Ireland.

His testament was dated in St. Augustine On Oct. 6, 1796, and he died on
Oct. 7.

Clauses:

hth Item I declare that I have as my property a house with its own lot
and another that bounds with it, situated in the street of St. George that
oes to the Puerta de Tierra, and a piece of land situated on Matanzas that
he King gave me and in which there are two free negro men named Sanco and
Harry cultivating it who must pay me one-fifth of the product of both the
plantings as well as the timber cut this is what I manifest to be recorded.
(The testament was dictated in English with the intervention of the public
translator Don Miguel Iznardy.)

Inherited from McHenry estate by Thomas Gernon and Wm. Munro, grandsons,
children of his daughter by 1st and 2nd husbands.

10. Testamentary Proceedings, Reel 5, William Mac Enery, is an error.

It says:

N. 1, Florida Year of 1801.

Proceeding about finding the origin of the death of Jayme McEnery who was *
found with his throat cut, at one side of the road of the first market; and
the inventory and sale of the small effects that were found. It was dated
in St. Augustine, Dec. 16, 1801.

*^Not William--may have been a relative of William. No information.

we can see: #277. Another (house) of Maria Rodriguez Jacinto, 2$ pesos.

Old Floridians, Minorcans, Italians and Greeks. Miguel Seguia; Native of
Minorca, CA.R., he has a wife and four daughters and one son, he abides by
the Memorial which he signed, his trade Plain Carpenter, he has an acre of
land but pays four pesos to an Englishman, he has a house, his own property,
near the Minorcan chapel.

5. 1783 (?) Spanish Census. Ph. #11 Sheet 3

Old Floridians, Minorcans, Italians and Greeks.

Antonio Estaban Napoles; Native of Corsica, C.A.R., he abides by the
Memorial, he is a bachelor, his occupation Captain of a Schooner, he has
a part of a house with Miguel Seguia and inhabits in the Greek Settlement.

McHenry two story house of stone and wood with lot and orchard, on St.
George St. which is W. boundary; E. Nicolas Ensalada and Honoria Clark,
N. Antonio Berta, S. Francisco Entralgo Howard certifies grant to G. Kemp
in 1771 lot No. 5 Albemarle Block.)

This means that both P. 111 and P. 112 make 17 1/2 x 17 1/2 equal 35 varas
on Cuna St., and if you go over Rocque's map scale starting from the same
corner of Cuna and St. George St. which is P. 10 equal 25 N-S x 17 1/2 varas,
you will see from the first number, that is P. 10 equal R. 6h does not
agree in both P and R1 maps, but the following two numbers, that is P. 112
and P. 111 and R 63 and R 62 agree in scale.
