Description: This is a two-story frame house, covered with beveled siding. It shows gable ends with a 5-v crimp metal roof and has plaster walls and ceiling on both floors and wood floors throughout.
It has central heat and air on both floors, bathrooms on both floors, but minimal electric service.


Date Acquired: 1982
Acquired By: Gift from the St. Augustine Restoration Foundation
Deed Restrictions: None known

Condition: Fair. The porch needs rebuilding. There is evidence of differential settling. The building should be jacked and leveled and a new perimeter foundation installed. The plumbing and electric, while not posing any life
safety threat, should be replaced for both practical and aesthetic reasons.

Life Safety Issues: None.

ADA Compliance Issues: In compliance.

Estimated Cost To Meet City Standard: $20,000 for leveling and porch repairs. $85,000 for complete rehabilitation. See Florida Master Site File #8SJ2510 for a discussion of advantages and disadvantages of complete rehabilitation.
