HISTORIC ST. AUGUSTINE PRESERVATION BOARD

MEMORANDUM

November 30, 1984


TO: STAFF

FROM: William R. Adams/t-

SUBJECT: Activity Changes


As you know, the Board has decided to change the use of the deBurgo/Pellicer
Houses from craft demonstrations of cabinet making and textile arts to a museum
store. They have also decided to make major changes to the de Mesa exhibit.

In order to accomplish these and other objectives Kjetil Lunestad will be
relieved of interpretive responsibilities and will be working full time on ex-
hibit construction/installation and related activities.

The textile arts demonstration will be relocated to the Gonzalez House along
with the candle operation.


The de Burgo/Pellicer House will
for exhibit production.

Construct new fence at rear of de Mesa.
Form and pour walk from rear gate of
de Mesa to kitchen door.

Close Gonzalez, inventory contents,
pack and remove to storage.

Close de Burgo/Pellicer.

Disassemble loom and relocate.

Inventory and remove wood working
artifacts.

Finish reassembly of loom.
Move candle dipping operation.

Open Museum Store.
