EVERGLADES NATIONAL PARK L
Here at the southernmost tip of Florida roads and other facilities are now being
is a vast, natural, sub- tropic wonderland built which will greatly expand the area
--rich with rare bird, fish and animal
life. Recently established as the third
largest national park in the U.S.A., new
now available to Florida visitors. Wild-
life tours are conducted by the Audu-
bon Society during the winter season.
The ONLY SUB-TROPICAL NATIONAL PARK in the UNITED STATES
EVERGLADES NATIONAL PARK
Ever see a flight of roseate spoonbills winging
over Florida Bay from their feeding grounds on
the Florida Keys? It's like watching a ribbon of
animated rose pink petals suspended in a dream
world of blue sky and aqua-tinted sea. Then the
great birds break their long garlands to form
swirling bouquets as they hover over the emerald
isle which is their nesting place. This is only one
of many marvels found by nature lovers in the
new Everglades National Park.
Your attention is called to Florida's many natural wonders,
as well as unparalleled industrial and commercial opportu-
nities, as a part of our "Helping Build Florida" program--
Florida Power and Light Company, Miami.
