TUESDAY, JANUARY 8, 1901.
Parade Commences at 10 O'clock, A. M.
The formation of the Parade will be substantially as
follows:
Governor's Staff Officers mounted.
Band.
Governor Bloxham and Governor-elect Jennings.
Mrs. Bloxham and Mrs. Jennings.
Justices of the Supreme Court and all State Officers and
their wives.
Mayor and City Council.
Confederate Veterans.
Militia.
Citizens.
The procession will form promptly at ll'o'clock on.Monroe
Street, east of the Capitol, under the direction nf the Grand-
Marshal, Captain R. A. Shine, assisted by L. A. Perkins, and
will be headed by the Mayor and City Council.
The Staff officers, Governor, Governor-elect and their wives,
and the Justices of the Supreme Court and other State Officers
will join the procession at the Leon Hotel. The parade will
end at the Capitol, where the
Inauguration
will take place at 12 o'clock M. Appropriate remarks will be
delivered by the outgoing and incoming Executives.
Will Receive Callers.
Immediately after the Inauguration the new Governor will
be escorted to the Executive Office, where callers will be in-
formally received by Governor Jennings and others.
Military Parade.
There will be a Military Parade in the afternoon whip.h will
be reviewed on Monroe Street opposite the East front of the
Capitol by Governor Jennings and,Ex-Governor Bloxham.
Inaugural Reception.
At the Leon Hotel, where Governor and Mrs. Jennings will
receive, assisted by Governor and Mrs. Bloxham, and the
former Governors and their wives and the present and former
United States Senators, Congressmen, Justices of the Supreme
Court and other State Officers and their wives.
Inaugural Ball.
At ten o'clock p. m. the Inaugural .Ball will be opened in
the dining room of the Leon Hotel.
Refreshments.
Refreshments will be served in the annex to the dining
room of the Leon Hotel, beginning at 10 o'clock p. m.
No special invitations will be issued and all.are cordially in-
vited to participate.
A Barbecue
Will be given to the Militia after the Inauguration of the
devernor on the Green opposite the City.Market.
