Senior named College Photographer of the Year
Judges from National Geographic Magazine, The Washington Post and
the Minneapolis Star Tribune recently named photoj journalism senior Tim
Hussin as the 63rd College Photographer of the Year (CPOY).
As this year's CPOY, Hussin will do a 14-week paid internship at
National Geographic this summer.

UF's International Center named Juan Carlos Molleda the 2008
International Educator of the Year for the untenured/recently tenured
The award provides $3,000 to assist in international work.
Provost Joe Glover presented the award to this year's honorees at a
reception in November as part of International Education Week.
FlyIns Guatemala exhibit opens Tuesday
Twelve communication students will showcase their photographs and
stories Tuesday at 7 p.m. at the opening of Guatemala In Words andPictures
at "the gallery" on the second floor of the Reitz Union.
The exhibit runs through Dec. 19.
