TRANSLATION








Don Vicente de Zespedes, Marshall of the Royal Army Camp,

Political Governor and Military of St. Augustine, Florida.

I certify in all forms of law, as Governor of the mentioned

Province, which later was returned by the English to the Spanish

Crown. Don Jose Fish, an Englishman who remained as proxy for

individual residents of that Plaza when they evacuated, to sell

these (reference to property, not having done this, when it was

returned by the English, turned over to the Senior Captain of the

Company, Don Antonio Fernandez, power of attorney, and other

documents remitted by the heirs of Don Joaquin Blanco, and Doffa

Antonia Havero, a house that was serving as a Catholic church and

a small house in front, both of the properties of the before

mentioned, acting for the resolution of Your Majesty and for the

recording give these presents:

Certifico en toda forma.de Derecho, como Governando aquella Provincia.
luego que se devolvio por los Ingleses aquella Plaza a la Corona Espail6a.
Don Jose Fish, de nation Inglesa que habia quedado por apoderado de
distintos vecinos de a quella Plaza quando la evacuaron, para que las
vendiera, no habiendo lo echo, quando se restituyo por los Ingleses, le
entrego al Capitan Graduala de Coronel Don Antonio Fernandez, en virtud
de Poder, y otros documents remitidos por los herederos de Don Joaquin
Blanco, y Dona Antonia Havero, una casa que estaba sirviendo de Iglesia
Catholica, y una casita enfrente, ambas de la propiedad de los e;presados
interin la resolution de Su Magistad para que consto doy la present:

Habana 9 de Enero de 1792.
