FLORENCIA HOUSE: Front half of structure masonry; rear half wood construction; hand split shingled roof; front half flat built-up roof. Erected by the Board in 1965.

MECHANICAL: Front half central heat and air; rear half window unitsfor heat and air.

WIRING: Electrical system overloaded at present.

PLUMBING: Restroom adjacent to the building.

MAINTENANCE NEEDS: Wood siding on rear of building will need repair in the near future. Inside needs painting.

LIFE SAFETY ISSUES: None.

ADA COMPLIANCE STATUS: Funds requested for FY 94/95 to make wheelchair accessible.

PRESENT USE: Leased as a restaurant facility.

RECOMMENDED USE: Entrance area and museum store for the Spanish Quarter Village.

CONSIDERATIONS: The issue of the best location for the entrance area and museum store has been explored over the past 6 months by the
Museum Store Committee. Their recommendation (to utilize this structure for a new entrance area and museum store site) has already been taken to,
and approved by, the Board.




HISTORICAL RESOURCES GRANTS-IN-AID AWARDED TO CITY OF ST. AUGUSTINE ON 09/97 A TOTAL OF $450,000.
