a group of GREDS, small, intel; ligent green beings from the
Planet Venus who have cone on a social science expedition to
find out how non rule themselves on Planet Earth. They head
immediately for Room 208 in Keati.ng.

First, tell the Greds how they night go about identifying our
political system taking into account that they know nothing
about our institutions and processes Then outline for them
youLr o-m notions, speculations, hypotheses on how America is
ruled. If you base your analysis on either Domhoff or DahlX
be sure to cite the evidence for their contentions; if you
present your own nodel of how America is ruled, at least do
not ignore our learned friends but tell how- and w y you differ
from them.

Finally, and only if you have time,, estima-te for the Greds
their chances of success ir a scientific approach to the
study of politics.
