6C1-3.009 Traffic & Parking; Bus System.
(1) Transportation and Parking Services supervises the operation of the campus shuttle bus
system (including Gator Lift). Use of the campus shuttle bus system is free to all faculty, staff,
students, and visitors. Use of the City of Gainesville Regional Transit System is free to all University
of Florida students, faculty and staff with a valid Gator 1 identification card.
(2) Effective Fall Semester 20082007, a Transportation Access Fee of $6.11--49 per credit
hour is assessed upon all courses and fundable credit hours taken by individuals at the University of
Florida. Dental, medical and veterinary students must pay a semi-annual Transportation Access Fee
of $122.20109.9 (One hundred twenty-two+ne and 2080/100 dollars). Pharmacy students must pay
a semi-annual Transportation Access Fee of $109.989882 (One hundred nine andNine" y eight and
9882/100 dollars), Physical Therapy students must pay a semi-annual Transportation Access Fee of
$119.15-10706 (One hundred nineteenseveN and 1506/100 dollars), and-Public Health and Health
Professions MPH 2-Year students must pay a semi-annual Transportation Access Fee of $73.3265.88
(Seventy-threeSiixty five and 3288/100 dollars), and Public Health and Health Professions MPH
Accelerated Program students must pay a semi-annual Transportation Access Fee of $64.16 (Sixty-
four and 16/100 dollars). This fee is used to help support the on campus shuttle bus system and the
City of Gainesville Regional Transit System.
(3) Students enrolled in a New World School of the Arts degree program in Miami are
exempted from paying the Transportation Access Fee. Students enrolled in an off-campus course
shall be assessed all, part, or none of the fee pursuant to the determination of the Office of the Provost
based on the location and type of the course.
