On this day, big rallies featuring top-flight entertainers will be held in .-
major cities throughout the United States. In addition to "big names" and local
talent on the spot, audiences in all cities will enjoy a.closed circuit, all-star

What Does This Mean to You?
This important and unprecedented event is being organized by the McCarthy Day
Committee (details of personnel l and phone numbers below) and members are counting
on all Volunteer and Women for McCarthy groups around the country to get behind it.-
If your group is located near any of the rally cities, your help is urgently
needed right,* ii jIffyoiu can help organize to "deal your' city in," all that is
required is an audience of 3000 to entitle you to help in securing top-class enter-
tainment and a closed circuit T.V. hookup. The more rally centers there are,
the wider the entire impact on McCarthy -ay--and the impact will not be lost upon
delegates gathering at Chicago.
How Else Can Local Groups Help?
Specifically--what can your group do--right now? Help to sell,.tickets.. The,:-
job is made easier by a list of handy and practical suggestions for ticket selling .!
which is available from the McCarthy Day Committee. You can also .help with
publicity. There's plenty of professional material available--large ..and small posters
(21" x 28" and 14" x 21") and flyers.
You can even orderrAnd-use a set of MINI-MCCARTHY HEADQUARTERS. These are four
collapsible, portable cardboird-stands 30" high, 30" long, and 20" deep. Two poles on
the back of the stand support a sign and raise the total height of the stand to
96". Anyone can set the Mini-Headquarters up quickly and on almost any spot--super:
marts, shopping centers, union halls, campuses, ball parks, beaches--any place where
crowds gather. Use the giniT4teadquarters to collect thousands of signatures for
the petitions addressed to delegates, to sell tickets for the McCarthy Day Rally,
to distribute publicity material. When you've finished in one spot, pack up, move
