Haute, Evansville, Tell City and Indianapolis are just a
sampling of the communities that Mrs. Eugene McCarthy will
visit this week as she covers the state of Indiana to promote
the candidacy of her husband in next week's primary election.
Abigail McCarthy, a writer and former school
teacher as well as a wife and the mother of four children, has
been a bulwark of strength in the Senator's quest for the Demo-
cratic presidential nomination.
Sometimes traveling with her husband and some
times stumping alone, she has criss-crossed more than 500 miles
within the state since she joined the Senator in his Indiana
campaign last week.
Mrs. McCarthy's schedule this week, with many
additions still to be made, includes the following:
Monday, April 29
