Less indefatiguable women might wilt
under so demanding a schedule, but Abigail McCarthy thrives
on it.

"It's terribly important that women bring
moral force to bear on what is causing the deplorable con
editions she says. "Each city could solve its own problems
if all women gave all their efforts for a year."
