Faculty Professional Development
Survey 2010

A few years ago the OER surveyed COE
faculty about their research- and grants-
related training needs. We are pleased
to report all requested topics were
covered and it is now time to re-assess
faculty development needs. To this end,
in the next few days, we will be
launching a brief survey asking for your
input. Your answers will be used to
develop the OER training and
development agenda for 2010-2011.

You will be asked to answer a series of
questions related to your departmental
affiliation, rank, tenure status, and
professional development needs. More
specifically, you will be asked to
indicate degree of interest, available
time for training, and your semester
preferences for a series of topics. We
will also ask that you recommend
colleagues who might be able to provide
these training, including yourself.
Finally, you will be asked to provide
input about any grants or professional
development areas you want the OER to
address that were not listed in the
survey.

The survey will take 15-20 minutes to
complete. A link will be provided via
email where you can access the survey.
As always, we appreciate your input.

Stay tuned!
