Faculty Professional Development
Needs Survey ~ Fall 2010

The OER will be conducting our second
Faculty Professional Development
Needs Survey this Fall semester. You
may recall we surveyed faculty in 2006
and all requested training programs
were offered over a three year period. In
the survey, we will provide you with a
list of previous offerings so you can tell
us which you would like revisited plus
ask for additional topics you want to see
featured in future training. We would
also like to gather data about training
needs in research methodology and
federal and foundation funding grants
programs and priorities. Your feedback
is important to us and we look forward
to hearing from you. Stay tuned!

Institute for Education Sciences (IES)
Webinars

We recently announced a series of
upcoming (IES) webinars that are
available to faculty interested in
pursuing IES funding.

These webinars focus on IES goals and
priorities and include a session for
Young Investigators.

For more information about webinar
topics, dates, and the registration
process, please visit:
http://ies.ed.gov/funding/webinars/

For a summary of IES finding
opportunities for 2011, go to:
http://ies.ed.gov/funding/

Finally, important dates for current
competitions may be found here:

As always, let us know how we can help!
