MOVING QQ N...
Gordon Andrews, Assistant Director,
SFA, came to UF seventeen years ago.
His last day was May 24, 2001. Gordon
supervised Student Employment,
Scholarships, and State Programs. Of his
many accomplishments for UFover the years,
Gordon was especially proud of his instrumental
involvement with the "America Reads"
project at UF and the creation of the SFA
Student Resource Center. We congratulate
him on his achievements here and wish him
the best in his future endeavors. He plans on
doing a little traveling and then enjoying his
retirement.
Pat Bush who has helped solve student
employment problems at UF for many years, is
moving on. She has accepted a position in
another SFA section. Pat was a valuable
employee within student employment, and we
know she will be valued in her new job.
Rubenia Ellis, another long-time
employee, also ended her tenure and
dedicated service to SFAthis year, leaving us
after fourteen years. Her traveling adventures
began soon after her last day at UF, April 27,
2001. Rubenia is moving north to be with her
daughters. We will certainly miss her.
High caliber employees like these three will
be missed dearly. We may fill their positions,
but their memories will never leave us.
