Disaster Contact Plan
Word Processing is compiling a list of CREC Employees and their contact information so
in the occurence of a disaster, i.e., a hurricane, each supervisor or faculty member can notify
their employees of CR EC's position regarding work status during a disaster.

An e-mail was sent out on May 31, 2001 requesting all CREC Employees to provide their
Name. Home Telephone Number, Supervisor's Name, and CREC Extension. If you did
not receive this c-mail, or have not responded yet, please send your information to Justin C.
Tabb in the Word Processing department either by c-mail at jtabbrr lal.ufl.edu. or by hard-
copy.

A booklet of the contact plan will be distributed to CREC Employees and possibly a
web-page could be created for employees to access the information at a later date.

Autoclaving from the labs needs to be disposed of in a Clear Plastic Bag

Cardboard boxes need to be broken down before the) are placed in the dumpster.

Please do not fill you trash cans with fruit waste. We are having trouble with trash
bags ripping due to strain on the bag.

Also, please do not place either broken glass or sharp objects in a trash can. Use
containers marked "Broken Glass" in order to make the person emptying the trash
aware of the potential danger.

SAnnual Picnj EblY

CREC's annual summer picnic was held June 15. Even
with the initial stormy weather, 130 people attended.
There were over 200 servings of lemon pepper chicken
quarters, fried chicken pieces, sandwich subs, and
hot dogs, and still we were lacking enough portions
of the main course.

To everyone who chose to face the storm clouds
that evaporated into a beautiful evening, thank you
for attending.

Russ Rouseff, Emeritus Picnic Coordir ator.
wishes to thank everyone for their assistance
:- and offer a special recognition to the committee
chairs: Eileen Hoobin (Set Up Commi-tee).
Jessica Cook (Entertainment/Sports Committee),
Mickey Parish (Publicity Committee), Bob
Braddock (Clean Up Committee), and Russ
Rouseff (Food!Oversight).
