About the Editor

Alexandra Layos will be taking over as editor of DCP News.

Allie is a master's student in the College of Journalism and
Communications and the new graduate assistant for DCP
Information & Publication Services.

Originally from Pennsylvania, she spent four years in Missouri
where she received bachelor's degrees in both communications and
equestrian science from William Woods University.

She has worked at a variety of magazines and newspapers, and
spent her undergraduate years working for the college's university
relations office, writing press releases and working on the alumni
magazine. A lover of fiction, Allie also has three books published
and hopes to find time to write many more.

Allie can be reached at news@dcp.ufl.edu.
