Sept. 16, 2008
This year, the UF Community Campaign will be online. You should
have received an email this week to announce the campaign,
although some of you received an email in August instead.
Either way, giving to the campaign is as simple as clicking on the
link provided in the email. If you missed the previous email, don't
worry -- you haven't missed your chance. The campaign runs
through Oct. 10, and UF will be sending out three more emails as

7 things to remember
w-hen giving online to the UFCC
1. Enter designations this year. Next year, the system should
have this information saved.
2. Any donation not designated will be split among the agencies
to whom others have designated.
3. For cash/check donations, please print out the UFCC
receipt and give it to Julie Frey along with your cash/check.
She will turn it into UF Community Relations.
4. Payroll deductions begin Jan. 1, 2009.
5. To stop receiving the UFCC emails, log in and either
indicate your donation or select the "no donation" option.
6. Check your junk mail if you aren't receiving the UFCC
7. Pop-up blockers may prevent you from seeing the UFCC
window. If you are having problems seeing the UFCC
window, visit the UFCC Web site.

Historic preservation lecture
The Historic Preservation Fall 2008 Lecture Series continues on
Sept. 25. The lecture, "It's Ho-Jo Ecclesiastical! Survey,
Documentation and Designation of the Recent Past," will be
presented by Jeanne Lambin, SCAD professor. The lecture will be
held at 2 p.m. in the Chandler Auditorium at the Harn Museum.

Architecture professor Charlie Hailey will discuss his book,
"Campsite: Architectures of Duration and Place," at 8 p.m. on
