I enclose you herewith a letter from the Clark Art Engrav-
ing Company, which was sent to you at Monticello, but returned as not
received, together with a circular which explains .what is desired.
You will see that this Company is anxious to procure a photograph 6
of your late distinguished husband, as one of the representatives of
Florida in the engraving:.--f Flerij-l which they are getting up. I
trust that you will be able to forward such likeness. The Company
write me that it is important that the picture be promptly sent, or it
cannot have a place in the engraving.
