Dear Sir,

We have yours of the 16t. Yesterday we passed to credit of Mrs. Beatty Twelve
thousand dollars being amt of Col. William's Draft on us in her favor. As Mrs. Beatty
has need of this money, let her draw on us (TJP) at sight, and we will honor her Drafts to
the extent of the $12,000.
