This Indenture made and entered into this Seventeenth day of January A.D. 1860,
between Ellen A. Beatty of the County of Jefferson and state of Florida of the first part
and J. Patton Anderson of the same county and state of the second part witnesseth; That
for and in consideration of the sum of thirty five hundred dollars in hand paid by the
party of the second part to the party of the first part, the receipt whereof is hereby
acknowledged by the party of first part. the said party of the first part hath this day
bargained sold and conveyed, and by these presents, doth bargain sell and convey unto
the party of the second part all that certain tract or parcel of land situate and lying in the
County and state aforesaid and known and designated as the west half of the north west
quarter of Section eight of Township one of Range five north and east; the west half of
the south west quarter of Section eight of Township one of Range five north and east; the
east half of the south west corer of Section eight of Township one of Range five north
and east; the north half of the east half of the south east quarter of Section eight of
Township one of Range five north and east; the north half of the west half of the south
west quarter of Section nine of township one of Range five north and east; and the east
half of the north west quarter of Section nine of Township one of Range five north and
east, containing in all about four hundred acres; to have and to hold the same to him, the
said J. Patton Anderson, his heirs, executors, administrators and assigns forever; In
witness whereof I have hereunto set my hand and affixed my seal the day and year above
written.

Jefferson County Be It Remembered that on the 3d day of March One thousand eight
hundred and Sixty personally appeared before the subscriber Clerk of Jefferson Circuit
Court Ellen A. Beatty granter in the foregoing Deed of Conveyance and acknowledged
that she did sign, seal and deliver the Same for the uses and purposes therein mentioned.
Whereupon I have duly recorded the same,
