at. Kitts Nevis Anguilla
POST OF AGRICULTURAL
ASSISTANT GRADE II.


Applications are invited for the post
of Agricultural Assistant Grade II in
the Deportment of Agriculture of the
Presidency of St. Kitts Nevls and
Anguilla.
The appointment will be for a period
of three years in the first instance
with a salary scale of $2 640-120-83,000.
The actual point of entry in the scale
will be determined in the light of ex-
perience and qualifications of the can-
didate. Applicants should hold the
Diploma of the Imperial College of
Tropical Agriculture and should have
had some experience of field work in
a department of agriculture.
A transport allowance is payable
at the rate at present ruling the Presi-
dency.
Quarters are not provided.


The officer will be engaged mainly
on pasture improvement and develop-
ment.

AID TO PIONEER INDUSTRIES ORDINANCE, 1951
(No. 9 of 1951)

NOTICE

In pursuance of the requirements of section 3 (2) (a) of the Aid
to Pioneer Industries Ordinance, 1951 (No. 9 of 1951), it is hereby
notified for general information that the Governor in Council pro-
poses to make the undermentioned Order under section 3 (1) of the
said Ordinance. Any person who objects to the making of such
Order shall give Notice in writing of his objection and of the
grounds on which he relies in support thereof to the Clerk to the
Executive Council on or before the 25th day of May, 1955.

(No. 9 of 1951).

ORDER MADE BY THE GOVERNOR IN COUNCIL
UNDER SECrIION 3(1) OF THE AID TO PIONEER
INDUSTRIES ORDINANCE, 1951 (No. 9of1951).

1. This Order may be cited as the Aid to Pioneer Industries
(Manufacture of rum) Order, 1955.

2. The manufacture of rum is hereby declared to be a pioneer
industry for the purposes of the Aid to Pioneer Industries Ordin-
ance, 1951 (No. 9 of 195t), and rum is hereby declared to be a
pioneer product for the said purpose.


Made by the Governor in Council this day of
1955.
