Declaration dated February 3, 1955,
made-under Section 3 of the Land
Acquisition Act, 1944 (No. 11/1944),
for the acquisition of certain land in
the Presidency of Saint Christopher
Nevis and Anguilla required for pub-
lic purposes.


IT IS HEREBY DECLARED that
the Governor in Council with the ap-
proval of the Legislative Council of the
Presidency of Saint Christopher Nevis
and Anguilla considers that the land
described in the Schedule hereto, sit-
uate in the Island of Anguilla in the
said Presidency, should be acquired
for public purposes, namely, for the
erection of a health outpost, in the
said Presidency.

SCHEDULE.

An area of approximately M of an
acre situate at South Hill in the island
of Anguilla in the Presidency of Saint
Christopher Nevis and Anguilla, and
bounded as follows, that is to say, on
the North and West by lands of
Frances Ann Carty; on the South by
the public main road; and on the East
by a private road.

AID TO PIONEER INDUSTRIES ORDINANCE,
1951 (No. 9 of 1951)
NOTICE
In pursuance of the requirements of section 3 (2) (a)
of the Aid to Pioneer Industries Ordinance, 1951 (No. 9 of
1951), it is hereby notified for general information that the
Governor in Council proposes to make the undermentioned
Order under section 3 (1) of the said Ordinance. Any per-
son who objects to the making of such Order shall give
Notice in writing of his objection and of the grounds
on which he relies in support thereof to the Clerk to
the Executive Council on or before the 10th day of
March, 1955.

AID TO PIONEER INDUSTRIES ORDINANCE,
1951 (No. 9 of 1951).

Order made by the Governor in Council under
Section 3 (1) of the Aid to Pioneer Industries
Ordinance, 1951 (No. 9 of 1951).

1. This Order may be cited as the Aid to Pioneer
Industries (Manufacture of pyjamas, shirts, khaki and
dungaree trousers, turkish towels, ladies' underwear, ladies'
blouses, ladies' nightgowns and ladies' nylon stockings)
Order, 1955.
2. The manufacture of pyjamas, shirts, khaki and
dungaree trousers, turkish towels, ladies' underwear, ladies'
blouses, ladies' nightgowns and ladies' nylon stockings is
hereby declared to be a pioneer industry for the purpose
of the Aid to Pioneer Industries Ordinance, 1951 (No. 9 of
1951), and pyjamas, shirts, khaki and dungaree trousers,
turkish towels, ladies' underwear, ladies' blouses, ladies'
nightgowns and ladies' nylon stockings are hereby declared
to be pioneer products for the said purpose.

1955.
