STATUTORY RULES AND ORDERS
1954, No. 14.

Building Regulations.

Proclamation dated the 6th day of October, 1954, appoint-
ing areas to which the building Ordinance, 1943, shall
apply.

By the Administrator of the Presidency of Saint Christopher
Nevis and Anguilla in the Colony of the Leeward Islands.

A PROCLAMATION.

Administrator.
WHEREAS under section 3 of the Building Ordinance, 1943
(No. 1 of 1943), it is provided that the Governor in Council may
from time to time by proclamation published in the Gazette, ap-
point the places or areas within the Presidency to which that
Ordinance and the rules made thereunder shall apply.
NOW, THEREFORE, I, HUGH BURROWES, Admin-
istrator of the Presidency of Saint Christopher Nevis and Anguilla,
with the advice of the Executive Council of the Presidency of Saint
Christopher Nevis and Anguilla, do by this my proclamation re-
voke the proclamation dated December 21st, 1944, appointing
areas to which the Building Ordinance, 1943, shall apply (S. R. &
0. 1944, No. 14) and appoint that the Building Ordinance, 1943, and
the rules made thereunder shall apply -
(a) to all places and areas in or within one mile of the
town of Basseterre; and
(b) to all places and areas in the towns of Sandy Point
and Charlestown.
GIVEN at the Government House, Saint Christopher, this
6th day of October, 1954, in the third year of Her
Majesty's reign.
