An Ordinance to provide for the ser-
vices of the Presidency of Saint
Christopher Nevis and Anguilla
for the financial year commencing
the Ist January and ending the
3Ist December, 1954.
BE IT ORDAINED by the Governor
and Legislative Council of Saint Chris-
topher Nevis and Anguilla as follows :-
I. This Ordinance may be cited for
all purposes as the Appropriation (1954)
Ordinance, 1953.

2. There shall be and there is here-
by granted to Her Majesty the Queen for
and during the period from Ist January,
1954 to 31st December, 1954 inclusive, the
sum of four million four hundred and
twenty-nine thousand one hundred and
sixty dollars over and above the sums
granted and provided under the Acts and
Ordinances in force in the Colony and
this Presidency, to be applied and ex-
pended in the manner and for the ser-
vices set forth in the Schedule hereto.

3. The said sum of four million four
hundred and twenty-nine thousand one

the same is hereby declared to be charg-
ed upon and made payable from and out
of the General Revenue and other funds
of the said Presidency.
Authority 4. The Treasurer of the said Presi-
to pay. dency is hereby authorised and required
from time to time upon the order or war-
rant of the Governor to pay the several
sums appropriated by and in the said
Schedule to the several services therein
mentioned, as the said order or warrant
shall direct, out of the General Revenue
and other funds of the said Presidency
without further order or formality.

DECLARED by the Governor to have effect by Proclamation
dated the 5th March, 1954 (S. R. & 0. 1954 No. 5).

An Ordinance to amend the Public
Piers and Wharves Ordinance,
19oo (No. 5 of 1900oo).

BE IT ORDAINED by the Governor
and Legislative Council of Saint Chris-
topher Nevis and Anguilla as follows :-

I This Ordinance may be cited as
the Pier Dues (Amendment) Ordinance,
1954, and shall be read as one with the
Public Piers and Wharves Ordinance,
1900, as amended, hereinafter called the
Principal Ordinance.

2. Schedule A of the Principal Or-
dinance is hereby amended by the in-
sertion in the appropriate places in the
list of exemptions of the following :-

An Ordinance to provide for the
management, control and super-
vision of aerodromes in the
Presidency.

BE IT ORDAINED by the Governor
and Legislative Council of Saint Christo-
pher Nevis and Anguilla as follows:-

I. This Ordinance may be cited as
the Aerodromes Ordinance, 1954.

2" In this Ordinance, unless the con-
text otherwise requires -
"aerodrome" means any area of land or water
designed, equipped or set apart or commonly
used for affording facilities for the landing
and departure of aircraft;
"aircraft" shall have the meaning assigned to
it under the Colonial Air Navigation Order,
1949.
3. (I) The Governor in Council may
make regulations for the management,
control and supervision of aerodromes.
(2) Without prejudice to the gen-
erality of the powers conferred by the
foregoing subsection, any regulations
made under this section may provide for
all or any of the following matters, that
is to say :-

(a) the placing or removal of erec-
tions adjacent to aerodromes;
(b) declaring any building or part
of a building or any area of
land or water at an aerodrome
to be a restricted place or area ;
(c) regulating and restricting the
admission of persons whether
as passengers or otherwise to
any part or an aerodrome;
(d) regulating and restricting the
use of motor vehicles or sea-
craft or other objects of any
class or description on any part
of an aerodrome;
(e) appointing parking places for
motor vehicles at an aerodrome;
(f) the issue of permits and condi-
tions to be observed ty the
holders of such permits;
(g) prescribing penalties for the
breach of any regulations made
hereunder.

(3) Every regulation made by the
Governor in Council under this section
shall within twenty-one days ot the
making thereof be submitted to the
Legislative Council and the Legislative
Council may by resolution confirm,
amend or revoke such regulation. If
the.regulation be not submitted within
such period it shall thereupon expire.
